Powells Valley Road in Wayne Township, Dauphin County, Open to Traffic

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that Powells Valley Road (Route 4013) in Wayne Township, Dauphin County, is open to traffic.

The road was closed in May due to a deteriorated structure located at the east side of the intersection with Price Road. The structure has been replaced. A detour associated with the closure has been lifted.

Work included removing the existing structure, installing a new concrete pipe and end walls, stream restoration and resurfacing the roadway over the new structure.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
