King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that paving operations will occur next week on Route 413 (Durham Road) and Edgely Road in Bucks County under several ongoing projects to repair and resurface more than 200 miles of state highway across the five-county Philadelphia region.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Tuesday, September 2, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure with flagging will be in place on Route 413 (Durham Road) through the Cold Spring Creamery Road Intersection in Bedminster and Buckingham townships.
- Tuesday, September 2, through Friday, September 5, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure with flagging will be in place on Edgely Road between Cobalt Ridge Drive and U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) in Bristol and Middletown townships.
Under these resurfacing and improvement projects, PennDOT’s contractors are repairing, milling, and repaving state highways with new asphalt pavement that will seal roadways and provide motorists with a safer and smoother riding surface.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
