Roadway Crack Seal Project Begins in Bradford and Sullivan Counties

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a crack seal project begins next week on several routes in Bradford and Sullivan counties.

The week of Monday, September 22, 2025, the contractor, Vestal Asphalt, will begin to crack seal Route 187 in Wysox Township, Bradford County and Route 220 in Davidson Township, Sullivan County, during daylight hours. Motorists can expect single lane restrictions with flagging where work is being performed.

Additional work will take place on the following routes during daylight hours.

Bradford County

  • Route 6 in Armenia, Burlington, Wysox, Standing Stone, Wyalusing, Tuscarora Townships and Troy Borough.
  • Route 14 in Springfield, Columbia, South Creek Townships and Troy Borough.
  • Route 187 in Wilmot, Terry, and Asylum Townships.
  • Creek Road (Route 367) in Tuscarora Township.
  • Route 409 in Wyalusing Township.
  • Spring Hill Road (Route 1007) in Tuscarora Township.
  • Keene Summit Road (Route 1023) in Standing Stone Township.
  • Bridge/Main Street (Route 1074) in Wyalusing Borough.
  • Wilmot Road (Route 2007) in Wilmot Township.
  • Ambrosius/Tubach Pond Road (Route 2009) in Wilmot Township.
  • Wyalusing New Albany Road (Route 2010) in Terry Township.
  • French Asylum Road (Route 2014) in Asylum Township.
  • Marie Antoinette Overlook (Route 9203) in Wyalusing Township.
  • Wyalusing Scenic Overlook (Route 9404) in Wyalusing Township.

Sullivan County

  • Route 220 in Shrewbury, Davidson, and Laporte Townships.
  • Dushore Overton Road (Route 4018) in Dushore Borough.
  • Route 87 in Hillsgrove and Elkland Township.
  • Route 154 in Laporte and Forks Townships.
  • World’s End Road (Route 3009) in Shrewbury Township.
  • Hoppestown Road (Route 4010) in Hillsgrove Township.
  • Main Street (Route 4012) in Forksville Borough.

Motorists can expect single lane restrictions with flagging where work is being performed. Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays, watch for changing traffic patterns, and drive with caution through the work zone.

Vestal Asphalt is the prime contractor for the $500,000 crack sealing project. Work on this project is expected to be completed late November of 2025, weather permitting.
