Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Washington County Maintenance Manager Brian Malik has announced the following tentative work plan for the week of September 22. All maintenance activities are dependent on weather and operations.
Motorists can anticipate detours, flaggers, moving operations, and/or single-lane restrictions. Please drive cautiously through all work areas and be alert for signed work zones requiring headlights. Safety is everyone’s responsibility.
Bridge replacement:
- Route 2034 (Sunset Drive) in West Pike Run Township
Boom mowing:
- Route 4011 (Robinson Church Road) in Robinson Township
Driveway adjustments:
- Route 481 (Scenic Drive) in Centerville Borough and Fallowfield Township
Drain cleaning:
- Route 40 in Claysville Borough, Buffalo, Canton, and Donegal townships
Drain installation:
- Route 221 (South Bridge Road) in South Franklin Township
Mowing:
- Route 22 Ramp 8046 in Hanover Township
- Interstate 70 (Ramp 8014 Jefferson Avenue) in the City of Washington
- Route 221 (S Bridge Road) in Buffalo Township
- Route 837 (Ramp 8025) in Donora Borough
- Route 4024 (Taylorstown Ridge Road) in Blaine and Buffalo townships
- Route 3026 (Enon Church Road) in West Finley and East Finley townships
Patching:
- Route 40 multiple locations countywide
- Interstate 70 multiple locations countywide
Restoring slide/sink hole:
- Route 221 (S Bridge Road) in South Franklin Road
Seal coating:
- Route 2022 (Patterson Run Road) in West Bethlehem Township
- Route 2011 (Beallsville Road) in Amwell and West Bethlehem Township
- Route 2049 (Clarksville Road) in West Bethlehem Township
- Route 4061 (Farrar School Road) in Hopewell Township
Shoulder stabilization:
- Route 2023 (Grange Road) in West Pike Run Township
Crews will pick litter, replace downed signs, update existing signs, and address work orders on various state routes throughout the county.
