Route 2085 Birmingham Bridge Restrictions Next Week in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing lane restrictions on the Birmingham Bridge which carries Route 2085 over the Monongahela River in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County will occur Monday through Thursday, September 22-25 weather permitting.

Single-lane restrictions will occur in both directions on the southern end of the Birmingham Bridge from 6:00 AM Monday continuously through 6:00 PM Thursday as crews conduct median barrier replacement work.

Crews from Golden Triangle Construction will conduct the work.

Motorists should be prepared for changing traffic patterns. Please use caution when driving through the area.  Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
