Route 1018 Railroad Crossing Closure in Wayne Township, Armstrong County

Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 10 is announcing a closure on West Main Street (Route 1018) in Wayne Township, Armstrong County as Buffalo and Pittsburgh Railroad performs railroad crossing work September 8 at 7:00 AM through September 12 at 6:30 PM.

The closure will occur between the intersection of Route 1018 with Kittanning Avenue (Route 1020) and Evergreen Road (T-531).

To detour on the south side of the railroad tracks motorists will travel south on Route 1018, turn right onto Route 1020, continue on Route 1020 and turn right onto State Route 1028.  Turn right onto Route 1037 and continue State Route 1018.  Turn Right onto Route 1018.

Motorists travelling on the north side of the railroad tracks will travel north on State Route 1018, turn left onto State Route 1037, and turn left onto State Route 1028.  Turn left onto State Route 1020, and turn left onto State Route 1018.
