Lane restrictions on NB Route 15
Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that painting is scheduled this week on the Emmitsburg Road (Route 3001) bridge spanning Route 15 at the Bus 15/Steinwehr Avenue Exit near Gettysburg in Freedom Township, Adams County. There will be lane restrictions during daylight hours on northbound Route 15.
Weather permitting, this work will be performed from approximately 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM today, Tuesday, September 16, and continue for the next several days. There will be alternating left and right lane closures on northbound Route 15 so recently repaired sections of the bridge can be prepped and painted. The restrictions will begin on northbound Route 15 starting at approximately Mile 1 and extending to just past the on-ramp from Emmitsburg Road/Steinwehr Avenue.
Motorists should be alert and drive with caution through the work zone.
New Enterprise Stone and Lime Co., Inc., of New Enterprise, PA is the contactor for this work.
