Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that an asphalt repair project will take place this week on Interstate 80 westbound in Turbot Township, Northumberland County.
Beginning Tuesday night, August 5, 2025, the contractor, RAM Construction Services will be repairing the asphalt overlay on the bridge that carries Interstate 80 westbound over Route 254. This repair is in response to damage that occurred due to the recent extreme high temperatures in the area.
Work this week will take place each day between the hours of 9:00 PM and 1:00 PM the following day and is expected to be completed on Thursday, August 7. Additional work needed to complete this repair will be scheduled at a later date.
Motorist should expect lane restrictions in the work zone and are urged to travel with caution in the area.
