Maintenance Project Planned This Week on Route 42 in Conyngham Township, Columbia County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised of a maintenance project planned this Thursday on Route 42 between Aristes and Centralia in Conyngham Township, Columbia County.

On Thursday, August 7, 2025, between the hours of 5:00 AM and 7:00 PM, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will be applying seal coat on Route 42 between Aristes and Centralia. Motorists can expect alternating lane restrictions with flagging where work is being performed. Parking will be restricted between Ringtown Road in Aristes and Laurel Street in Centralia.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, watch for lane changes, and drive with caution.
