Uniontown, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT’s) Engineering District 12, along with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), invites the community to participate in the virtual plans display for the 2025 D12 Bridge Preservation in Fayette and Westmoreland counties.
The purpose of the Virtual Plans Display to provide information on the 2025 D12 Bridge Preservation in Fayette and Westmoreland Project covering the improvements, impacts, traffic control, and anticipated schedule.
Information on the 2025 D12 Bridge Preservation in Fayette and Westmoreland Project, including a short overview and an online comment form, is available on the PennDOT website beginning today, Thursday, May 1, through Thursday, May 15.
Visit the PennDOT District 12 website at http://www.penndot.pa.gov/District12. Click the District 12 Projects Tile, select 2025 D12 Bridge Preservation in Fayette and Westmoreland.
The online plans display introduces the project and elicits public input regarding questions or concerns. The public may also review and comment on the project’s potential effects on Cultural Resources, according to the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation’s 36 CFR Part 800 regulations implementing Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act.
Project documents will be made available in alternative languages or formats if requested.
