Overnight Squirrel Hill Tunnel Inspection Work Begins Sunday Night in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing tunnel inspection work in Squirrel Hill Tunnel (I-376 Parkway East) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will occur Sunday through Thursday night, June 22-26 weather permitting.

Routine tunnel inspection operations requiring a single-lane closure in the Squirrel Hill Tunnel will occur from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. according to the following schedule:

·       Sunday night – Outbound (eastbound) tunnel

·       Monday through Thursday night – Inbound (westbound) tunnel

Please use caution in the area. Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
