A $1.55 million project to repair the bridge that carries Lottsville Niobe Road (Route 4015) over Mill Creek in Freehold Township, Warren County is scheduled to start soon.

Work on the bridge, which is located on Lottsville Niobe Road (Route 4015) between the intersection with Stillwater Road and the intersection with Huntley Road, is expected to start July 7, 2025, weather permitting.

The project includes the replacing the upper portion of the bridge, known as the superstructure, including new beams, barriers, and deck. Work will also include minimal paving on each side of the bridge, updated drainage, and shoulder backup.

A detour will be required during construction and is expected to be in place for approximately four months. The detour route will be posted using Stillwater Road and Huntley Road.

The new bridge is expected to be opened in late October 2025.

The existing concrete bridge was built in 1987. It is classified as poor condition. Approximately 200 vehicles a day use the bridge, on average.

The contractor is Horizon Construction of Seneca, PA. The contract cost is $1,555,000 which is to be paid entirely with federal funds.
