Repairs Planned for Route 921 Bridge in York County

Traffic will be detoured for about two weeks begin July 7

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that repairs are planned for the Route 921 (Canal Road) bridge spanning Fox Run just east of Dover Borough in Dover Township, York County. The bridge will be closed, and traffic will be detoured.

Weather permitting, the bridge will be closed the night of Monday, July 7. The closure is expected to last about two weeks. A detour will be in place using Route 74, Route 238, and Bull Road (Route 4001).

Work includes repairs to the structure and upgrades to the bridge barrier.

JD Eckman, Inc., of Atglen, PA, is the contractor for this work.
