Route 194 Bridge is Open to Traffic in York County

Structure replaced with a precast box culvert.

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that the Route 194 bridge in Franklin Township, York County, is open to traffic. The bridge, which spans a tributary to Bermudian Creek between Franklintown and Dillsburg boroughs at the Franklin-Carroll township line, was closed in April so it could be replaced.

The project consists of removing the existing structure, replacing it with a box culvert, and approach, guiderail, and drainage work in Franklin Township.

CriLon Corp., of Somerset, PA, is the contractor on this $826,603 project.
