Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a PennDOT maintenance crew in Lebanon County is scheduled to resurface two sections of Route 422 next week. The work consists of milling and paving from 15th Street in North Lebanon Township to Bowman Street in Lebanon City, and from Sixth Avenue to South Fifth Avenue in the city.
Weather permitting, this work will be performed from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday, September 15, to Friday, September 19. There will be lane restrictions and traffic shifts on Route 422 during work hours. At least one lane will remain open in each direction. Flaggers will direct traffic at intersections within the work limits.
Delays are expected. Travelers should consider alternate routes.
Motorists should be alert and drive with caution through the work zone.
