Resurfacing to Begin Next Week at Route 209 and S. Crossroads Road in the Village of Loyalton in Dauphin County

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a PennDOT maintenance crew in Dauphin County is scheduled to resurface the intersection of Route 209 and Route 1009 (S. Crossroads Road) in the Village of Loyalton, Washington Township, next week.

Weather permitting, milling and paving at the intersection is expected to begin Monday, July 14. The intersection will be closed daily at approximately 7:00 AM and will remain closed during daylight hours. A detour will be in place during work hours using Route 225 and Route 25.

All work is expected to be completed by Friday, July 25, but may run longer depending on the weather. An update will be issued if the project extends beyond July 25.
