Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that pavement patching is planned for the night of Monday, September 15, on westbound Cameron Street in the area of the pedestrian underpass at the Farm Show complex in the City of Harrisburg.
Weather permitting, this work will be performed from 6:00 PM Monday, September 15, to 7:00 AM Tuesday, September 16. There will be lane restrictions on westbound Cameron Street between Arsenal Boulevard and Azalea Drive.
Motorists should be alert and drive with caution through the work zone.
This work is part of a pavement preservation project consisting of concrete patching, diamond grinding, milling, asphalt overlay, traffic signal and intersection improvements, minor drainage repairs and other miscellaneous construction on Cameron Street from Paxton Street to Elmerton Avenue/Wildwood Park Drive, and on Arsenal Boulevard from Maclay Street to 15th Street.
This project is anticipated to be completed by September 1, 2026.
JD Eckman, Inc., of Atglen, PA, is the contractor on this $8,275,459 project.
