King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that base repair operations will close Goshen Road and Strasburg Road in Willistown and East Goshen townships, Chester County, beginning Monday, September 15.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, September 15, through Wednesday, September 17, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Goshen Road will be closed and detoured between Boot Road and Delchester Road. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Boot Road, Route 3 (West Chester Pike), and Delchester Road.
- Thursday, September 18, through Monday, September 22, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Strasburg Road and Goshen Road will be closed and detoured weekdays between Delchester Road and Route 352 (Chester Road). During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Delchester Road, Route 3 (West Chester Pike), and Route 352 (Chester Road).
- Tuesday, September 23, through Thursday, September 25, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Strasburg Road will be closed and detoured between Route 352 (Chester Road) and Route 3 (West Chester Pike). During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 352 (Chester Road) and Route 3 (West Chester Pike).
Local access will be maintained at all times. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur.
