10:00 PM UPDATE (ROAD OPEN) Route 104 is Closed in Chapman and Perry Townships, Snyder County

10:00 PM UPDATE: Route 104 is open in Snyder County.

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that Route 104 is closed in both directions between Meiserville Road in Chapman Township and Route 35 in Perry Township, Snyder County, due to multiple downed utility poles and wires.

The below detours are in place.

  • Route 35 traffic should use Route 35 and Route 11.
  • Route 104 and Meiserville Road traffic should use Meiserville Road, Hoffer Road (Route 2001 / Route 2004), and Martin Brothers Road (Route 2006).
  • Large trucks should use Route 11 and Route 35.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel and drive with caution. The road is expected to remain closed for several hours.
