CORRECTION: Route 186 should read I-86. Correction has been made: On Tuesday, July 1, 2025, the contractor, Dalrymple Gravel and Contracting Co., will begin the project on Pine Street between the intersections with Route 220 and Route 199 and on Route 220 beginning at the intersection with Route I-86, extending 500 feet south.
Montoursville, PA – Bradford County motorists are advised a milling and resurfacing project is set to begin tomorrow on Pine Street (Route 1064) and Route 220 in Athens Borough and South Waverly Township.
On Tuesday, July 1, 2025, the contractor, Dalrymple Gravel and Contracting Co., will begin the project on Pine Street between the intersections with Route 220 and Route 199 and on Route 220 beginning at the intersection with I-86, extending 500 feet south.
Work will take place under single lane conditions, controlled by signs and flaggers, during daylight hours. Motorists are urged to be alert, obey signs and flaggers, and to drive with caution in the work zone.
Dalrymple Gravel and Contracting Co. is the prime contractor on this $558,000 construction project. Work includes milling and resurfacing of the roadways and newly constructed ADA curb ramps. This projected is expected to be complete in early August 2025.
