Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that daily road closures will begin this week on Ellis Hill Road (Route 2030) in Asylum Township, Bradford County, for pipe replacements.
Starting on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, Ellis Hill Road will be closed between Kilmer Hill Road (Route 2028) and Liberty Corners Road (Route 2024), a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew replaces deteriorating pipes.
A detour using Liberty Corners Road, Route 187, and Kilmer Hill Road will be in place each day while work is being performed. Work will be performed during daylight hours. Work on this project is anticipated to be completed on Friday, September 19, 2025, weather permitting.
Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution.
