Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a raised pavement marking repair project begins next week in north central Pennsylvania.

The contractor, Penn Line, Inc., will be repairing raised pavement markings on Route 61 between Kulpmont in Mount Carmel Township and the City of Sunbury in Northumberland County. Work will be performed Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
Motorists can expect alternating lane restrictions where work is being performed. Motorists should be alert, slow down, and expect delays in travel.
Penn Line, Inc., is the prime contractor for this raised pavement marking repair project. Work will take place on I-80 interchanges in Northumberland and Columbia counties, Route 61 in Northumberland County, I-180 interchanges in Lycoming County, Routes 11/15 interchange in Selinsgrove, and Routes 11/15 between the Juniata County line and Port Trevorton. Work on this project is anticipated to be completed in the fall 2025, weather permitting.
