Beaver Springs, PA – Motorists are advised that a bridge preservation project will be beginning on Middle Road (Route 4016) in Adams Township, Snyder County.
Beginning Wednesday, May 28, 2025, the contractor, George S Hann and Son Construction, will start work on the above project. Work includes removal of the existing bridge deck and restoration of the bridge abutments. This will be done prior to constructing a new bridge deck and roadway approaches. Motorists can expect a complete road closure in both directions and a detour using Middle Road (T-401) in Beaver Township Snyder County.
Traffic Impacts
- Motorists can expect a long-term closure of local road, Middle Road (T-401), in both directions, between Route 235 and Decker Road (T-400).
Detour
- A detour will be in place using Troxelville Road (Route 235) and Decker Road. The detour is anticipated to be in place through November 2025.
George S Hann and Son Construction is the primary contractor on this $1.1 million pavement preservation project.
Work is anticipated to take approximately 6 months to complete, as weather permits.
