Clearfield, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) said it will close the right (travel) lane of Route 220 northbound approximately half a mile before the Pine Creek exit on Wednesday as work to repair a Route 1016 (East Central/Woodward Avenue) bridge in Avis Borough gets underway. This project will repair damage the structure suffered during a previous bridge strike.
The contractor is closing the northbound lane of Route 220 to work on the underside of the bridge. PennDOT anticipates that the contractor will complete the work in approximately two weeks. All schedules are weather-dependent.
