Update: Interstate 79 Base Repair Scheduled Next Week in Greene County

Single-lane restrictions are in effect today Friday, August 22

Uniontown, PA—Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing single-lane restrictions on a portion of Interstate 79 in both directions between Exit 14 (Waynesburg) and Exit 19 (Ruff Creek) in Franklin Township, Greene County are in effect today, Friday, August 22.

Lane-restrictions have been implemented due to pavement conditions. Pavement restoration is anticipated to begin Monday, August 25 by Department Force Crews.

Remain alert and follow the posted signs and speed limits. Safety is everyone’s responsibility.
