Route 857 Deck Rehabilitation Begins Monday in Fayette County

Uniontown, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing rehabilitation work on Route 857 over Mountain Creek in Georges Township, Fayette County will begin Monday, July 28 weather permitting.

Beginning at approximately 7 a.m. Monday, Route 857 will be reduced to a single-lane of traffic controlled by temporary signals between the Haydentown Hill Road/Mud Pike intersection and Haydentown Hill Road.

Crews from Golden Triangle Construction will conduct deck replacement work and other miscellaneous repair work on this $1.2 million infrastructure investment through late August.

Stay alert and drive cautiously through the work zones—safety is everyone's responsibility.
