Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing the closure of a portion of Route 4061 (Farrar School Road) in Hopewell Township, Washington County, will begin Monday, July 14 weather permitting.
Beginning at approximately 7 a.m. Monday, Farrar School Road will close to traffic around-the-clock between Fox Road (local) and Route 844 (Jefferson Road) through mid-August for slide repair work.
Detour:
- Route 844 (Jefferson Avenue)
- Route 331 (Brush Run Road)
- Route 4061 (Farrar School Road)
The Washington County maintenance department is conducting the slide repair work on this $150,000 project.
All work depends on weather and operational conditions.
Remain alert and follow the posted signs and speed limits. Safety is everyone’s responsibility.
