Route 40 Traffic Stoppages Scheduled Sunday in Fayette County

Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing traffic stoppages of fifteen-minutes or less are scheduled to occur in both directions of Route 40 between the Route 21 interchange and the Walnut Hill Road interchange in South Union Township, Fayette County. They are scheduled for Sunday, February 23 and are permitted to occur between the hours of 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM, depending on weather and operations.

The traffic stoppages will allow crews from Omni Fiber, LLC to install an aerial line.

PennDOT is not involved in this work and is providing this information as a public service announcement only.

Remain alert and follow the posted signs and speed limits. Safety is everyone’s responsibility.
