Bridge Inspections Next Week in Washington County

Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing scheduled single-lane restrictions on Interstate 70 and Route 8011 (northbound Interstate 79 Flyover Ramp) in Washington County:

I-70 in multiple municipalities:

  • Daily, Monday, August 25 - Thursday, August 28
  • Daylight hours (8:00 AM-3:00 PM)
  • Eastbound and westbound
  • Between Exit 1 (West Alexander) and Exit 21 (I-79 South)

Flyover Ramp (north I-79 to west I-70) in South Strabane Township:

  • Monday, August 25
  • Daylight hours (8:00 AM-3:00 PM)

Ramp from east I-70 to north I-79 in South Strabane Township:

  • Monday, August 25
  • Daylight hours (8:00 AM-3:00 PM)

District 12 staff will be inspecting the bridges over the interstate.

All work is dependent on weather and operational conditions.
