Bebout Road, East McMurray Road, Thompsonville Road Intersection Reconstruction Begins Next Week in Washington County

Uniontown, PA—Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing scheduled periodic lane narrowing, single- and full lane restrictions around the intersection of Route 1019 (Bebout Road), Route 1002 (East McMurray Road), and Thompsonville Road in Peters Township, Washington County, beginning Monday, April 21.

Crews from Plum Contracting will reconstruct the intersection—an infrastructure investment of $4.1 million. The scope of work includes widening Route 1002 (East McMurray Road) to accommodate northbound and southbound left-turn lanes, along with a minor alignment shift, and widening Route 1019 (Bebout Road) to include a westbound right-turn lane.

Construction is anticipated to last through late November, pending weather and operational conditions.

Stay alert and drive cautiously through the work zones—safety is everyone's responsibility.
