Uniontown, PA – PennDOT District 12 would like to inform motorists of the closure on Route 2025 (Ankney Hill Road) between Shady Lane and Route 982 in Mount Pleasant Township, Westmoreland County. Work will begin on Monday, April 17 and will continue until late October, weather and operational dependent.
The closure will be in place to allow crews to replace the structure carrying Route 2025 (Ankney Hill Road) over Welty Run.
Posted detours will be place.

Motorists traveling northbound on Ankney Hill Road will detour using Shady Lane, Heinman Road, and Route 982.

Motorists traveling southbound on Ankney Hill Road will detour using Route 982, Heinman Road, and Shady Lane.
Crews from Frank Gavlik and Sons, Inc. will be performing the work.
This work is part of a $1.03 million project that consists of the replacement of the structure carrying Route 2025 (Ankney Hill Road) over Welty Run. Work will also include reconstruction of approach roadway and updating the drainage, guiderail, signing, and pavement markings. Work is anticipated to be complete in October of 2023.
