Route 18 Lane Restrictions Scheduled Next Week in Washington County

Uniontown, PA – PennDOT District 12 would like to inform motorists of intermittent single-lane restrictions on Route 18 (Jefferson and Wylie Avenues) in the City of Washington, Washington County. The work will take place between the hours of 6:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, beginning Monday, April 3 and will continue through late May, weather and operational dependent.

Intermittent single-lane restrictions will be in place to allow crews to perform milling, base repairs, bituminous paving, and install new curbs, sidewalks, and signals. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers. Motorists should use caution traveling through work zones.

Crews from Plum Contracting, Inc. will be performing the work.

This work is part of a $10.2 million project involving traffic signal upgrades, roadway reconstruction and resurfacing, new sidewalks with ADA ramps, and upgrades to drainage, signing, and pavement markings. The project is anticipated to be complete in May of 2023.
