Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing roadway improvement work on various roadways in Allegheny County will begin Monday, August 1 weather permitting.
Single-lane alternating traffic for drainage improvements will occur weekdays through late December in the following locations:
- Scenery Drive/Boston Hollow Road/Walnut Street (Route 48) between Cowan Drive in Elizabeth Township and Long Run Road in the City of McKeesport
- Long Run Road (Route 48) between Walnut Street (Route 48) in the City of McKeesport and Lincoln Way (Route 2031) in White Oak Borough
- East Pittsburgh McKeesport Boulevard/Tri-Boro Extension/ Braddock Avenue (Route 2037) between Navy Marine Corp Way (Route 2068) in North Versailles Township and Electric Avenue (Route 2112) in East Pittsburgh Borough
- Navy Marine Corp Way (Route 2068) between East Pittsburgh McKeesport Boulevard (Route 2037) and Lincoln Highway (Route 30) in North Versailles Township
- Braddock Avenue (Route 2083) between East Pittsburgh McKeesport Boulevard (Route 2037) and Cable Avenue in East Pittsburgh Borough
The prime contractor is A. Liberoni, Inc. on this $8.51 million group paving project. Improvement work includes milling and paving, drainage upgrades, base repair, pavement marking installation, and other various construction related activities.
