Nighttime Resurfacing Project to Begin on Route 422 in Summit Township, Butler County

Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing a patching and resurfacing project beginning September 16 on Route 422 in Summit Township, Butler County.

September 16 – 20, there will be lane restrictions with flagging 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM between the intersections of Mitchell Hill Road and Geibel Road near the intersection of Route 422/Bonniebrook Road as crews patch and resurface the roadway.

This is one site in a contract that will include additional work on Route 2005 (Olean Trail), Route 2015 (CL School Road), Route 2001 (Shannondale Road) and Route 2012 (East Reidsburg Road) in Clarion County and various bridge approaches throughout the District region.  Contractor, IA Construction of Franklin, PA will be completing this $6.3 million contract anticipated to be complete in November 2025.
