The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is informing motorists of the closure and detour of Route 915 (North Valley Road) in Wells Township, Fulton County, beginning Monday, July 7, 2025.
New Enterprise Stone & Lime, New Enterprise, Pa., is the contractor for the $1.475,000.00 project, which includes the replacement of the bridge on Route 915 (North Valley Road) over an unnamed tributary of Laurel Fork, as well as roadway approach work, drainage improvements, guiderail upgrades and other miscellaneous construction. The detour is set for a maximum of 30 days.
Car detour (3.5 miles):
Traveling from Route 30 (Breezewood) to Route 915 (North Valley Road) onto Route 4013 (Wells Valley Road) to Route 4012 (Metzler Road) to Route 915 (North Valley Road).
Traveling from Route 915 (North Valley Road/Wells Tannery) to Route 4012 (Metzler Road) to Route 4013 (Wells Valley Road) to Route 915 (North Valley Road).
Truck detour (22.5 miles):
Avoid travel on Route 915 (North Valley Road) and Route 26.

As always, PennDOT stresses extra caution in all work zones. Motorists should drive slowly, eliminate all distractions, and stay alert for direction from advanced signage and flaggers.
Additionally, PennDOT reminds motorists that as of June 5, 2025, the "Paul Miller's Law" is in effect. This law prohibits the use of hand-held devices while driving, even while stopped temporarily due to traffic, a red light, or other momentary delay. Violation of this law is punishable by way of summary citations issued by any Pennsylvania Law Enforcement officer. We strongly urge motorists to make safe choices, put phones out of reach and don’t text and drive.
