Philadelphia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that resurfacing operations will continue next week on Richmond Street and Broad Street (Route 611) in Philadelphia.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, May 19, through Wednesday, May 21, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure will be in place on Richmond Street between Wheatsheaf Lane and Bridge Street in Philadelphia.
- Tuesday, May 20, through Thursday, May 22, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure will be in place on Broad Street (Route 611) between Allegheny Avenue and Hunting Park Avenue.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
