MEDIA ADVISORY: FRIDAY IN MONROE COUNTY – Shapiro Administration, Safety Partners to Urge Drivers to Put Down the Phone, ‘Paul Miller’s Law’ Now Effective

Saylorsburg, PA – On Friday, officials from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) will join Senator Rosemary Brown and national advocate Eileen Miller to urge drivers to put down the phone while driving. “Paul Miller’s Law” goes into effect today, June 5, making it illegal to use a hand-held cell phone while driving.
