Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a road widening project is set to begin next week on Route 45 in Montandon, West Chillisquaque Township, Northumberland County.
Monday, July 14, 2025, the contractor, Don E. Bower, Inc., will begin widening Route 45 between Housels Run Road and Wolf Road. Motorists can expect single lane conditions with flagging where work is performed. Work will be performed Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM, weather permitting.
Don E. Bower, Inc., is the prime contractor for this project. Work on the project includes widening of the road, paving, curbing, and line painting. This project is anticipated to be completed in September 2025.
