Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a pipe replacement project will close a portion of Legion Road (Route 4002) in Montour Township, Columbia County.
Starting on Monday, August 18, 2025, Legion Road will be closed between County Line Drive (Route 2017) and Route 42, while a PennDOT maintenance crew replaces deteriorated pipes. A detour using County Line Drive will be in place while work is being performed. Work will be performed during daylight hours.
Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution. Work on this project is anticipated to be completed on August 29, 2025, weather permitting.
