Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a portion of Salem Road (Route 1011) will be closed next week in Penn Township, Snyder County, for a pipe replacement.
On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM, Salem Road will be closed between Clifford Road (Route 2011) and Route 522, while a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew performs a pipe replacement. A detour using Clifford Road and Route 522 will be in place while work is being performed.
Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution. In the event of inclement weather, work will be performed on Thursday, May 22 or Friday, May 23.
