Montoursville – Motorists traveling on Route 15 in Lycoming and Tioga counties are advised a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) contractor will be performing maintenance work this weekend.
On Saturday, May 17, 2025 and Sunday, May 18, 2025, the contractor, Chase Enterprises, will be applying herbicide along Route 15 in the following municipalities:
Lycoming County
- City of Williamsport
- Old Lycoming Township
- Lycoming Township
- Lewis Township
- Cogan House Township
- Jackson Township
Tioga County
- Liberty Township
- Bloss Township
- Hamilton Township
- Blossburg Township
- Covington Township
- Richmond Township
- Mansfield Borough
- Tioga Township
- Lawrence Township
Motorists should be alert for single lane conditions with flagging or shoulder closures where work is being performed. Work will be performed between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, weather permitting.
Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution.
