Maintenance Project on Route 45 Tomorrow in Liberty Township, Montour County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists who travel Purple Heart Highway (Route 45) in Liberty Township, Montour County are advised a maintenance operation is scheduled to take place on the roadway tomorrow.

On Tuesday, July 1, 2025, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) department force crew will be patching Purple Heart Highway between Liberty Valley Road (Route 642) and Pottsgrove Road (Route 3004). The work will take place between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM, weather permitting.

Motorists can expect alternating lane restrictions under flagging and are urged to drive with caution in the work zone.
