Canada Road Now Open in Covington Township, Tioga County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that Canada Road (Route 2025) in Covington Township, Tioga County is now open to traffic.

Motorists can expect single lane conditions with flaggers during daylight hours while the contractor, L.C. Whitford, Company, Inc., competes miscellaneous work on the bridge replacement project. Motorists are urged to drive with caution in the area.

The bridge was damaged beyond repair in August 2024, after excessive rain from Hurricane Debby caused flash flooding in the region.

Work on this project includes construction of a pre-stressed concrete beam bridge, approach work, paving, line painting, and guide rail upgrades.
