Bridge Inspections Next Week on High Street and Route 44 in Lycoming County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised of lane restrictions next week on High Street (Route 2016) in Old Lycoming Township and Route 44 in Antes Fort, Lycoming County for bridge inspections.

On Monday, June 2, 2025, and Tuesday, June 3, 2025, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) bridge crew will perform an inspection on the bridge carrying High Street over Lycoming Creek in Old Lycoming Township. A specialized crane will be used to complete the inspection. Motorists can expect alternating lane restrictions with flagging. Work will take place during daylight hours.

On Wednesday, June 4, 2025, the bridge crew will be inspecting and performing maintenance on the bridge that carries Route 44 over the west branch of the Susquehanna River in Antes Fort. Motorists can expect alternating lane restrictions with flagging. Work will take place during daylight hours.

Motorists should be alert and drive with caution through the work zone.
