Uniontown, PA—Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing the scheduled closure of Route 1019 (Bebout Road) between Route 1002 (East McMurray Road) and Route 1004 (Sugar Camp Road) in Peters Township, Washington County, beginning Tuesday, May 27.
Detour -- expected through mid-late July:
- Route (1002) East McMurray Road

Crews from Plum Contracting are reconstructing the intersection of Route 1019 (Bebout Road) and Route 1002 (East McMurray Road)—an infrastructure investment of $4.1 million. The scope of work includes widening Route 1002 (East McMurray Road) to accommodate northbound and southbound left-turn lanes, along with a minor alignment shift, and widening Route 1019 (Bebout Road) to include a westbound right-turn lane.
Construction is anticipated to last through late November, depending on weather and operational conditions.
