Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Westmoreland County Maintenance Manager Dave Forkey has announced the following tentative work plan for the week of June 16. All maintenance activities are dependent on weather and operations.
Motorists can anticipate detours, flaggers, moving operations, and/or single-lane restrictions. Please drive cautiously through all work areas and be alert for signed work zones requiring headlights. Safety is everyone’s responsibility.
Ditching:
- Route 2033 (Bethel Church Road) in Unity Township
- Route 711 (Market St) in Ligonier Township
Edge paving:
- Route 201 (Rostraver Road) in Rostraver Township
- Route 3004 (Hawkeye Road) in East Huntingdon Township
- Route 3008 (Fellsburg Road) in Rostraver Township
- Route 3089 (Water Street) in East Huntingdon Township
Patching:
- Route 30 in Derry and Ligonier Townships
Paving:
- Route 380 in Washington and Bell Townships
- Route 2010 (Stone Church Road) in Hempfield Township
Pipe installation:
- Route 982 (Kecksburg Road) in Mount Pleasant Township
- Route 1067 (Laughner Road) in Fairfield Township
Pipe replacement:
- Route 2016 (Youngstown Ridge Road) in Unity Township
Shoulder stabilization:
- Route 711 (Stahlstown-Ligonier Road) in Cook Township
- Route 711 (Market St Extension) in Fairfield Township
- Route 4033 (Murrysville-Trafford Road) in Penn Township
Crews will pick litter, replace downed signs, update existing signs, and address work orders on various state routes throughout the county.
