Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that daytime single-lane restrictions are scheduled to begin Monday, May 5 through Wednesday, May 7 in both directions on Interstate 70 in Westmoreland County.
Restrictions are scheduled to occur daily from 8:00 AM-3:00 PM:
- Monday, May 5 from the Westmoreland County Line to Exit 46
- Tuesday, Mary 6 from the Westmoreland County Line to Exit 46.
- Wednesday, May 7 between Exit 57A and Exit 58
The single-lane restrictions are in place to allow District Staff to inspect the bridges over the interstate. All work depends on weather and operations.
Remain alert and follow the posted signs and speed limits. Safety is everyone’s responsibility.
