Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing single-lane restrictions on Interstate 70 in Rostraver Township, Westmoreland County Saturday, July 19. All work depends on weather and operations.
Single-lane restrictions will occur to allow crews to move temporary barrier from 2 a.m. until 6 a.m. Saturday morning, July 19 between the Route 51 (Exit 46) and Arnold City (Exit 44) interchanges.
This work is part of the $120.6 million I-70 at Route 51 Interchange Project, which will reconstruct I-70 at Exit 46 to make the section similar to other reconstructed sections to the east and west. A Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI) will replace the current substandard cloverleaf Route 51 interchange.
Remain alert and follow the posted signs and speed limits. Safety is everyone’s responsibility.
