Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing the closure of a portion of Route 1050 (Buchanan Road/Melcroft Road) this week in Saltlick Township, Fayette County.
The traffic impacts will allow crews from PennDOT to replace pipe on Route 1050 (Buchanan Road/Melcroft Road) between Route 1009 (White Road) and Route 1058 (County Line Road).
Depending on weather and operations, the closure is anticipated from Thursday, August 10 through Monday, August 21.
Detours will be posted utilizing:
- Route 1050 (Buchanan Road/Melcroft Road);
- Route 1058 (County Line Road);
- Route 0381 (Indian Creek Valley Road);
- Route 1054 (Imel Road); and
- Route 1009 (White Road).
