Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that a portion of Route 1019 (Bebout Road) is scheduled for a single-lane restriction beginning this week in Peters Township, Washington County.
Temporary signals will control alternating north and south traffic between Route 1004 (Sugar Camp Road) and Bunker Hill Drive from Thursday, September 14 until Saturday, September 30 depending on weather and operations.
Route 1010 (Valley Brook Road) will remain closed between Route 1002 (East McMurray Road) and Bebout Road with no through traffic permitted. Only local traffic will be able to access the closed portion of Valley Brook Road.
The posted detour will continue with East McMurray Road and Bebout Road.
A. Folino Construction is performing the work as part of a $2.3 million project that replaces the existing three-way stop-controlled T-intersection with a roundabout, drainage, bituminous paving, signage, lighting, guiderail, and utility relocations. The project is anticipated to be completed in November 2023.
